Step out of your comfort zone as we go Bear Grylls and head into the backcountry for a wilderness experience you won't forget! We meet on the first evening to discuss our strategy, introduce you and your team to some of the equipment and safety gear and we plan our route. We will be venturing into the backcountry, sleeping under homemade shelters, eating lightweight food and following a challenging route that will see us take in a disused mine, hike a mountain ridge, descend to a lake and paddle to our final night's accommodation.
This trip will be challenging physically and mentally, you will learn new skills, survival techniques and more.
Due to the challenging nature of this adventure, we restrict it to 4 participants and your guide. You must be physically fit and able to carry a 30lb backpack over 30km of rugged terrain.
